Hi there! I’m Sarah, and I wasn’t always the confident cook you see today. Just five years ago, I could barely boil water without burning it. My culinary journey started out of necessity when I moved to my first apartment and realized takeout wasn’t sustainable (or healthy!).

What started as a survival skill quickly became my greatest passion. I discovered that cooking isn’t just about following recipes—it’s about creating memories, bringing people together, and expressing creativity through flavors.

Burned pasta, exploding microwaved eggs, and a smoke alarm that became my cooking timer. But every disaster taught me something new!

Successfully hosted my first dinner party! Friends couldn’t believe I cooked everything myself. That night, I knew I had to share what I’d learned.

When I’m not experimenting in the kitchen, you’ll find me hiking local trails (always on the hunt for wild berries!), reading mystery novels with a cup of perfectly brewed coffee, or trying to convince my cat, Pepper, that the kitchen counter is not a suitable taste-testing station.

I’m also a firm believer that the best meals are shared with loved ones, even if that’s just me and Pepper on a quiet Tuesday night.
